SaCaSol III is a 48-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic power station〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=San Carlos Solar Energy, Latest News )〕 under construction. The photovoltaic power plant was a cooperation between ThomasLloyd CTI Asia Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the ThomasLloyd SICAV-SIF – Cleantech Infrastructure Fund - managed by global investment and advisory firm ThomasLloyd Group, and Bronzeoak Philippines Inc, a company specialising in the development and implementation of clean energy projects in the Philippines. SaCaSol III is maintained under an Operations and Maintenance Contract by Conergy Asia & ME and was developed by ''Bronzeoak Philippines'' for ''San Carlos Solar Energy Inc.'' (SaCaSol), located close to Manapla in Negros Occidental, Philippines. Negros Island is considered to be one of the best locations for a solar farm. The solar irradiation at the project site is about 1,911 kWh/m²/year (PV Syst). A study of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory shows that an average of 5.0-5.5 kwh/m²/day of power can be generated. SaCaSol III, follows SaCaSol I, currently operational with 45 MW, and SaCaSol II, also due to start commercial operation in December 2015 with a planned final capacity of 32 MW. Once completed, it will be the largest solar plant in the Philippines and among the largest solar power plants in Southeast Asia. In June 2015, ThomasLloyd sold its stake in SaCaSol III to the international consortium, ''Philippine Investment Alliance for Infrastructure (PINAI)''.
